It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we write this letter to you. After so many wonderful years, we must share the difficult news that Simply Ballroom will be closing its doors. This decision was not made lightly, and it is one we truly never wanted to face. We will operate as normal through the month of February, so please come in and join us. Our final day will be February 28th.
For almost 18 years, this studio has been more than just a place to dance—it has been a home, a family, and a source of joy for so many. Hal has been here since 2007, and Heidi since 2008. In that time, we have had the privilege of watching so many students come and go. We have watched them take their very first dance steps, build confidence, and grow into incredible dancers. We have shared in your triumphs and your laughter. Every lesson, every class and party, every showcase, and every competition has been a cherished moment.
But Simply Ballroom has been more than just dance. We’ve seen strangers become friends, and friends become family. Some of you have even met your life partners here, taking your first steps together on our dance floor before walking down the aisle. These connections are what has made Simply Ballroom so special, and they are what will live on long after our doors have closed.
Simply Ballroom has become a part of who we are, just as we know it has for so many of you. Saying goodbye is heartbreaking, but we take comfort in the incredible community we have built together. The friendships, the memories, and the love of dance will carry on, no matter where your journey takes you next.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for being a part of Simply Ballroom. You have made this place truly special, and we are forever grateful. We hope that wherever you go, you continue to dance, to share your passion, and to carry a piece of Simply Ballroom with you.
We will stay in touch and we will find ways to get everyone together.
With love and gratitude,
Heidi & Hal
